Freud would no doubt have a field day with the Hogan clan. Not only is leathery patriarch Hulk dating a bottle-blonde who bears a passing resemblance to his 20-year-old daughter, Brooke, but estranged wife Linda, 48, recently stepped out with a towheaded teen who looks a bit like their incarcerated 17-year-old son, Nick. The latter squicky situation has left Brooke cringing right along with the rest of us (and keep in mind she doesn't cringe easily: Hulk was photographed a couple months back rubbing sunscreen on her, oh, let's say upper thigh).
"I'm totally freaked out," she admitted to E! host Michael Yo on Tuesday. "I personally don't like it at all or condone it, but she's my mom, so I have to show her support." Making matters ookier: Hulk's top-heavy little girl reveals she went to school with Linda's 19-year-old friend (they were recently snapped boogying down together at a Las Vegas club).
"He was a grade under me," says Brooke. "Me and Nick know him well. Me and Nick are two years apart, and he was right between us [in school]."
She admits she's scratching her head over the downturn in her family's once typical D-list reality show existence, even though some believe (and we know who we are) that the Hogans are unparalleled in their odiousness.
Case in point: TMZ.com obtained tapes of Nick's jailhouse conversations with his folks, both of whom display a stunning lack of empathy for the family of John Graziano, who was badly injured in the car crash that landed their son in the pokey. Hulk even called the accident "God's will," a stance he unwisely reiterated on "Larry King Live" Tuesday night, adding that perhaps it happened to make Nick and John better people.
