American actor Harrison Ford is ready to tie the knot with long-time partner Calista Flockhart, according to reports.
The Indiana Jones star, who has been raising Flockhart's seven-year-old adopted son Liam as his own, will be marrying her in a low-key summer (08) ceremony.
The two of them have been dating ever since they met at the 2002 Golden Globe awards, but having gone through two divorces already, 65-year-old Ford was reluctant to wed again.
But it has been revealed by sources to National Enquirer that the actor is finally ready to tie the knot with the former Ally McBeal star.
"He said he'd marry Calista as soon as he's finished with the promotional work for the new Indiana Jones movie - and Calista is holding him to his promise," Contactmusic quoted an insider as telling the tabloid. (ANI)

Actor Charlie Sheen has married his fiancée Brooke Mueller in a small, private ceremony in Los Angeles. The couple, who have been dating for two years, exchanged vows in front of just 60 friends and family members on Friday. Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and his actress wife Rebecca Gayheart were among the guests at the wedding. Daneand Gayheartfirst introduced Sheento real estate investor Mueller in 2006. According to People.com, Sheen, 42, persuaded his 30-year-old bride to scale down her wedding plans. A source tells the Web site, "Brooke really wanted to walk down the aisle in a big way, but Charlie insisted they keep it simple and small." Madonna's Adoption Approved by Malawian Court

Madonnahas finally won her drawn-out battle to adopt David Banda, after a Malawian judge approved her application to make the African toddler her son. The ruling at Malawi's High Court on Wednesday has put an end to a 20-month-long saga which began in October 2006, when Madonna and her director husband Guy Ritchie brought Banda back to the U.K. from a Malawian orphanage. At the time, the tot was just 13-months-old. And the couple is delighted with the happy news. Madonna's lawyer Alan Chinula says, "We are very happy with what the judge has ruled. It is a positive and beautiful judgment that will have an impact on Malawi's adoption laws. "Finally the court has granted Madonna full adoption rights of the boy--it's a long judgment but I am quite happy with it." Madonnas adoption of Banda has been highly controversial, attracting accusations the impoverished nation's government had bypassed laws that ban non-residents from adopting children in Malawi.

Lindsay Lohan's father doesn't mind if his daughter is a lesbian - but he says he didn't out her.
Michael Lohan says his comments posted on US magazine's Web site Tuesday about Lindsay's alleged romance with deejay Samantha Ronsonwere taken out of context.
He told the Daily News he does not know if thetwo are having a relationship and he has not asked his daughter about it.
"I was talking about what Dina's show is all about, but they left that part off," he said referring to a story which quotes him saying he thought the Lohan-Ronson relationship "is evident to anyone with half a brain."
"I was saying that it's evident the show is not about being a mom and a manager, the show's not about Ali, it's about Dina."
Michael Lohan said he had not seen any photos of his daughter and Ronson nuzzling necks in France recently.
Nor would it matter to him if his daughter were gay.
"Lindsay's life choices are up to her," he said. "I don't get involved in my daughter's personal life.
"They're friends, they're always together. I hug my friends, does that make me a homosexual? Of course not."
Lohan said he has also not seen images of Lindsay re-creating Marilyn Monroe's last nude photo shoot.
"I haven't seen any pictures of her and Samantha, nor did I look at the Marilyn Monroe pictures," he said. "A father never wants to see those things."

Tom Cruise Remembers 'Unpretentious' Sydney Pollack

Tom Cruise has paid tribute to The Firm director Sydney Pollack, admitting he will "miss him dearly." Pollack died aged 73 on Monday, after a nine-month battle with cancer at his home in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles. And Cruise, who worked with the director/actor/producer on 1993's The Firm and Eyes Wide Shut in 1998, remembers the star as an "unpretentious" man. He says, "Throughout the years, unpretentious and never condescending, he shared with me what he loved about family, storytelling, food, flying and a great bottle of vino (wine)." Cruise also looks back fondly on their first meeting, when Pollack patiently answered an up-and-coming Cruises eager questions for six hours, even though he was busy editing his comedy classic Tootsie. He explains, "I first met him while he was in the midst of editing Tootsie. I'd seen every one of his pictures and he generously took the meeting. "He was a Renaissance man and a great friend. I will miss him dearly."

Kirsten Dunst Confesses Struggle with Depression

Actress Kirsten Dunst has long been followed by rumors concerning a substance or alcohol abuse problem but she is now setting the record straight: she checked into the Cirque Lodge rehab center in Utah earlier this year seeking treatment for her depression.
It was widely speculated that her partying habits had caught up with her when “Spider Man” actress Kirsten Dunst checked into famous rehabilitation facility the Cirque Lodge earlier this year.
Dunst did not address the issue at the time. This week however she talked to E! Online and cleared the matter. Alcohol or substance abuse was not what prompted her to make the trek to Utah; it was depression.
“There’s been a lot of misrepresentation about what is going on in my life, and it’s been very painful for my friends and family,” the 26-year-old actress said.
She went on to explain that the rumors surfacing over the past couple of months were hurtful for her friends and family, who naturally wanted to defend her. Feeling stronger, she decided she was prepared to talk about what she had been going through.
Calling Cirque an “opportunity to go somewhere and take care of myself,” the young actress offers a broader perspective on depression, commenting that “we’re all in the same boat together.”
As to censors who may feel a young, successful Hollywood celebrity has nothing to be depressed about, Dunst thinks, “Depression is pretty serious and should not be gossiped about.”
She is currently filming “All Good Things” in New York, alongside Ryan Gosling.
Dunst began acting as a child and received a Golden Globe nomination in 1994 for her portrayal of Claudia, the little girl who would never grow up, in “Interview with the Vampire.”
Famous at 12, Dunst would go on building a nice resume, appearing in “Jumanji” and “Little Women.” She grew up on the big screen, in films such as “The Virgin Suicides,” “Mona Lisa Smile,” and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.”

Wesley Snipes Granted Bail

Actor Wesley Snipes has been granted bail pending an appeal of his federal tax convictions. The Blade star's lawyers announced on Thursday that an Ocala, Florida, judge had agreed to a request by Snipes to allow him to remain free on bond while his defense team try to overturn the convictions. Snipes was handed a three-year sentence last month after officials found him guilty of failing to file his taxes for five years. He had been told he would have to surrender to jail by June 3 if he wasn't granted bail. U.S. District Judge William Terrell Hodges says he was "dubious" of the appeal arguments put forward by Snipes legal team, but agreed to the bail request as Snipes could possibly serve his entire sentence before a decision on his appeal was made.

New York police spokesman Detective Martin Speechley confirms officers picked up and charged Follieri on Thursday, while TMZ.com reports the Italian property developer bounced a check worth $250,000. The Web site claims Follieri has since been released from custody and is working with police to sort out what he claims is a misunderstanding. Last year, U.S. supermarket billionaire Ron Burkle sued Follieri for allegedly squandering $1.3 million of his business money to support his lavish lifestyle. Follieri denied the accusation.

The young music mogul who was caught up in a Britney Spears baby scandal last year has lured the pop star back to the studio. Producer J.R. Rotem has teamed up with hitmaker Sean Garrett to help the pop star make a start work on a comeback album. And he insists Spears is back at her best after a crazy 2007 ended with hospitalizations for bipolar disorder, custody battles and career issues. He says, "She's great. She's like a master at what she does. She's a lot more experienced than most people. She just has the 'it' factor that not every artist has. "It's always nice to work with her." Scarlett Johansson Album Bombs with Critics

HOLLYWOOD - Actress-turned-singer Scarlett Johansson's debut album has received a series of scathing reviews from music critics, who have branded the star's recordings "fussy and forgettable." The Lost in Translation star released her LP Anywhere I Lay My Head, a collection of Tom Waits covers, this week. HOLLYWOOD - Actress-turned-singer Scarlett Johansson's debut album has received a series of scathing reviews from music critics, who have branded the star's recordings "fussy and forgettable." The Lost in Translation star released her LP Anywhere I Lay My Head, a collection of Tom Waits covers, this week. But several reviews of the 40-minute-long disc have been lukewarm, with commentators reserving their harshest criticism for Johansson's vocal abilities. Rolling Stone magazine, which gave Johansson a mediocre 2.5 stars out of 5, complains, "Johansson's voice is unremarkable and her pitch sometimes unsteady; she's a faintly goth Marilyn Manson lost in a sonic fog." Madonna to Headline Michael Moore Film Festival

HOLLYWOOD - Documentary maker Michael Moore has landed a big boost for his Traverse City Film Festival in Michigan--Madonna's coming home for it. The pop superstar's I Am Because We Are documentary, about AIDS orphans in Malawi, will headline the alternative film festival in August. And the Material Girl will be there in person. A thrilled Moore says, "Madonna will present the film, watch it with the audience and conduct a question-and-answer session afterwards. "It's a huge coup for the Film Festival, and for Traverse City." And the hard-hitting documentarian, who has taken healthcare and President George W. Bush to task in his films, has nothing but praise for Madonna's new release, which recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in France. He adds, "She spent the past couple of years filming what the people go through and the efforts to help them. I saw the film about a month ago. It's a fantastic, powerful movie." Madonna produced and narrated the documentary after travelling to Malawi, where she met toddler David Banda. She and husband Guy Ritchie are adopting the child. Britney Spears' bad driving has put the troubled pop star back in the headlines after a fender bender on Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Spears was behind the wheel when her Mercedes-Benz SL65 rear-ended a red sports utility vehicle in Beverly Hills.No injuries were reported and Spears refused to get out of her car, letting her bodyguard talk to the other female motorist and exchange insurance details. The police were not called to the scene of the accident. HOLLYWOOD - Actress Anne Heche has blamed the cancellation of TV series Men in Trees for her inability to pay child support. The star was granted a reprieve in the monthly payments of $14,978 to her ex-husband Coley Laffoon for their 6-year-old son Homer. But Heche has been ordered by a judge to provide up-to-date income and expense information for the case--as she claims she also can no longer afford to pay Homer's school fees, the mortgage on her house in Canada where Men in Trees was filmed, the rent on her California home, and car expenses. In court papers, she says, "I am continuing to look for work, but I have no offers pending and the impending strike by the Screen Actors Guild reduces my prospects for work even further. "Since January 18, 2008, I have been unemployed and had no income from employment except for one very short-term contract for a movie role for which I received a total of $65,000, approximately the amount I received for one episode of Men in Trees. "I do receive some residuals from previous acting work. However, the amounts are nominal and are offset by recurring business expenses that must be paid whether or not I am working."
