Construction Worker Throws Legal Stone at Sharon

Is it Sharon Stone's house that puts the fatale in femme fatale?
The actress was sued for negligence Wednesday by a worker who claims he fell over a concealed precipice on the Basic Instinct star's Los Angeles property two years ago and suffered "severe and permanent injuries." (View the lawsuit.)
Peter Krause (not the Six Feet Under star) claims that, while doing work on Stone's home on Aug. 25, 2006, he fell past an array of landscaping plants that apparently masked a steep drop-off.
Per court documents filed in L.A. Superior Court, Krause was "rendered sick, sore, lame, disabled and disordered, both internally and externally, and suffered, among other things, numerous internal injuries, severe fright, shock, pain, discomfort and anxiety."
Is he sure he didn't just sit through Basic Instinct 2?

'Gossip Girl' Star Blake Lively Has Only Kissed Three People

"Gossip Girl" star Blake Lively has only kissed three people in her life — and hopes that doesn't hurt her chances with Brad Pitt.
"I've kissed just three people in my life, other than stuff that I've done for TV or movies," the 20-year-old starlet tells Cosmopolitan in its September issue. "I know — I'm weird!
"I hope Brad Pitt doesn't hear this," she adds. "He's never going to want to marry me!"
In fact, the actress is steadily dating costar Penn Badgley.
Lively says her romantic life is nothing like that of her onscreen persona, Serena van der Woodsen, who is a reformed wild girl.
"I don't drink. I don't do drugs," she says, deadpanning, "But I do sleep around a lot."

Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer Break Up

Are Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer over already?
Aniston is already dating someone else in Los Angeles, the New York Daily News' Rush and Molloy column reports.
The U.K.'s Daily Mirror reports that the "Friends" actress, 39, was dumped by the singer, 30, after the pair initially decided to spend some time apart ... before making the break official earlier this week.
"There's been a bit of tension for some time," a source close Mayer reportedly told the Mirror. "They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked. John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn't ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.
"Contrary to reports, Jen didn't want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together. She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children.
"Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she's simply sad — not to mention a little heartbroken."

Paris Hilton sued over lack of publicity for film

MIAMI - Paris Hilton didn't do enough pledging for a 2006 sorority comedy, according to a lawsuit filed Tuesday. Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc. filed the lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Miami, alleging the 27-year-old model-actress-heiress owes $75,000 in damages for not fulfilling promotional obligations.
Hilton entered into an agreement in 2004 for the production and distribution of the movie "National Lampoon's Pledge This!," according to the lawsuit. Hilton starred in the film and received credit as an executive producer.
The Miami-based concern said it paid Hilton and her company, Paris Hilton Entertainment Inc., $1 million for "Hilton's acting services" and for "reasonable promotion and publicity" for the movie, which was released in 2006 and featured Hilton as the president of an exclusive sorority.
While most famous for her tabloid exploits and reality TV series "The Simple Life," Hilton has appeared in the films "Bottoms Up," "The Hottie & the Nottie" and "House of Wax."
She's slated to next appear in the movie musical "Repo! The Genetic Opera" and the tentatively titled MTV reality series "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."
Phone calls and e-mails to Hilton's manager, Jason Moore, were not immediately returned Tuesday.

Britney Spears says new album is "best work ever"

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Britney Spears says her sixth album will be out within nine months as the U.S. pop star seeks to rebound from troubling behavior and hospital stints for psychiatric evaluations. In an interview with OK! magazine released on Wednesday, the 26-year-old says she has written more for the new album than her previous five studio albums, and describes it as having an "urban" feel.
"I'm writing every day, right here at the piano," said Spears, one of the world's most successful pop stars of the early 2000s. Her last album, "Blackout," debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 last November, but quickly slid down the chart.
Spears has given few interviews in recent years as her life spiraled out of control and she lost custody of her two sons.
Over the past 18 months she has been involved in an ugly divorce from Kevin Federline, entered rehab treatment several times, and exhibited erratic behavior like shaving her head and attacking a photographer's car with an umbrella.
But in the past six months, her father Jamie Spears has taken over management of her affairs and she was also mentioned as a possible Emmy award nominee for guest appearances on U.S. TV series "How I Met Your Mother."
When asked by OK! if she would like to do more acting, Spears said: "I'd love to, if I can find the right movie."
"Actually, I have a part that just came up. We're just trying to work it out with my schedule, with the children," she said.
A court recently extended Jamie Spears control over his daughter's affairs, which he shares with Los Angeles attorney Andrew Wallet, until the end of 2008.
Spears and her former backup dancer Kevin Federline, 30, were divorced last summer after two years of marriage. The couple have two children together, Sean Preston, 2-1/2, and James Jayden, 22 months.
She told OK! she would rather her sons did not pursue a career in entertainment.
"But I'd love them unconditionally if they wanted to. I'd just as soon they have a more normal childhood," she said.
Spears also spoke of being shocked at her sister Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. She was at the hospital when the 17-year-old star of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" TV show gave birth to a girl, Maddie Briann in June.
"That was special, but it was also strange because she's always been the baby, and now the baby was having a baby. It was mind-boggling. I was shocked a little bit," Spears said.

Peaches Geldof marries rocker in Vegas

LONDON (Reuters) - Bob Geldof's teenage daughter Peaches has married her American rocker boyfriend at a Las Vegas wedding chapel, her spokesman said on Wednesday. The 19-year-old tied the knot last week with Max Drummey, 23, a member of the indie band Chester French, in a "simple, low-key ceremony" while on holiday in the United States.
"Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage," her publicist said in a statement. "(They) did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts."
The bride wore a cream dress and the groom kept his sunglasses on during the 15-minute ceremony at the Little White Chapel, according to a report in the Sun newspaper.
It said the couple did not have any friends or family to act as witnesses so a photographer had to stand in, according to the minister who conducted the service.
"They held hands and looked eye-to-eye," the tabloid quoted the Reverend Steven Fabretti as saying. "They looked very happy. The bride looked very young and pale and quite angelic."
Newspapers printed pictures of a wedding certificate bearing the names Maxwell C. Drummey and Peaches Honeyblossom Geldof.
The couple have the "full support of their family and friends," their statement added. Bob Geldof, the anti-poverty campaigner and former Boomtown Rats frontman, was not immediately available for comment.
The couple's statement contained several plugs for Drummey's band, prompting one newspaper to speculate that the event may have been an elaborate publicity stunt.
The second daughter of Bob Geldof and the late TV presenter Paula Yates, Peaches has worked as a model, DJ and singer. She is a regular fixture in the British tabloids, often pictured coming out of fashionable nightclubs.
Her publicist said she met Drummey, a Harvard anthropology graduate, two years ago.
