John Enos borderline daddy?
Peabody homey John Enos said his e-mail was “blowing up” last week when news broke that Madonna considered him a possible candidate to father her first child.
“It was a lifetime ago and I don’t even remember what I did last week,” Enos told the Track.
The former “Melrose Place” and “Sex and the City” actor dated the pop princess off and on for a couple of years in the early 1990s when he owned a Sunset Strip nightclub.“Life With My Sister Madonna,” an upcoming tell-all book by Christopher Ciccone, reveals that Madge also considered having cross-dressing NBA nut Dennis Rodman donate sperm to the baby project before settling on trainer Carlos Leon, dad to M’s oldest child, Lourdes. The married Enos declined to discuss the baby negotiations, saying, “I don’t talk about my old girlfriends.”
“I wouldn’t want someone I went out with 12 years ago talking about me,” he added.
Enos said he’s not too concerned about Chris’ tome, excerpts of which ran in last week’s New York Post.
“I don’t think it will be nasty,” he said. “He’s a good guy.”
All Enos would say about his relationship with the pop superstar is that, “I was having a good time.”
BTW, Enos’ made-in-Boston flick “Everybody Wants To Be Italian” - the saga of a lovelorn North End fishmonger - is expected to hit theaters in Boston, New York and Philadelphia Sept. 5.
