Jodie Marsh has confessed she contemplated suicide after appearing on reality show Celebrity Big Brother 2 years ago. The glamour model was targeted by housemate Michael Barrymore, who said she was an attention seeker. 'I'd kept all my aggression and sadness bottled up,' she says. 'But then one day, I just thought: "I want to kill myself." I was driving my car along a country lane and thought: "What's the quickest way to end it? Could I drive into that tree at 70mph? That would do it."' Jodie, 29, says her depression really scared her. 'It wasn't just a passing thought – it was serious,' she reveals. 'So the next day I booked a flight to Italy and sat on a mountain by myself for a week. I just thought it through and gave myself a talking to.' Two years on, Jodie – who is currently divorcing husband Matt Peacock after meeting on her MTV reality show Totally Jodie Marsh: Who'll Take Her Up The Aisle – insists she feels better. 'I'm 100 per cent happy. I feel like this is a new chapter in my life,' she tells More. 'I'm the strongest I have ever been.'
